I've been a software engineer for more than a decade, mostly shipping things, breaking things, and fixing them again. Somewhere along the way I fell hard for design: apps, logos, little details that either feel right or drive you quietly insane.

That meant I was forever tinkering with colors and themes. After one too many guesswork sessions, I built Huebert for myself: something fast, flexible, and actually pleasant to use.

Turns out I wasn't the only one. Others showed up, it grew, and now it's a real product. Still wild to me.
